ADEN SIMPSON-THOMAS KENT

Georgia Warren County} 

This indenture made and entered into between Aden Simpson of
the one part and Thomas Kent of the other part both of the
county State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said Simpson for
the in consideration of the sum of fifty Dollars to him in
hand paid by the said Kent at or before the signing sealing
and delivering of the presants the receipt thereof is hereby
acknowledged hath bargained sold and conveyed and do by
these presants bargain and sell a certain tract or parcel of
land containing One Hundred acres more or less Situate lying
and being in the County and State aforesaid and on the
waters of Big Creek adjoining Lands of said Kent and Land of
Thigpen and Lands of Thomas Downs to have and to hold, the
said tract or parcel of Land to his now proper use benefit
and behoof in fee simple. And I the said Simpson do warrant
and defend the right and title of the above tract of land
from the claim of myself my heirs and assigns and from no
other person in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and seal this the twenty third day of December One
thousand Eight Hundred and forty four interlined? Before
