This indenture made this fifth day of October, in the year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and seven, and the thirty first year of American 
Independence, between Sarah Wynn, William Roberson and Patsy his wife, Leonard 
Fretwell and Sally his wife, Joseph Carter and Fanney his wife, Presley 
Sanford and Polly his wife, Benjamin Wynn, John Wynn, John Wynn, William Wynn, 
Jinncy Wynn and Thomas Wynn the widow, children and legal representatives of 
John Wynn deceased, of the one part, and Rachel Roberson, Hugh Roberson, 
Samuel Roberson, Mary Roberson, Rachel Roberson Jr, William Roberson and Vann 
Roberson the legal heirs and representatives of William Roberson deceased, of 
the other part. Whereas at the Superior Court held in and for the County of 
Warren and state aforesaid, in a certain cause therein then finding wherein 
the heirs of William Roberson deceased, where it was decided by a jury, for 
that trial specially sworn, that the heirs of John Wynn deceased, should pay 
to the heirs of William Roberson deceased, the sum of five thousand five 
hundred dollars, to be discharged in special titles being made to two hundred 
eighty seven and an half acres of land, lying in the county of Washington, 
originally granted to John Wynn.

Now this indenture witnesseth that the aforesaid Sarah, William Roberson and 
Patsey his wife, Leonard Fretwell and Sally his wife, Joseph Carter and Fanney 
his wife, Presley Sanford and Polly his wife, Benjamin Wynn, John Wynn, 
William Wynn, Leonard Wynn, Jinncy Wynn, and Thomas Wynn the widow, children 
and legal representatives of John Wynn deceased, have granted conveyances 
alined and confirmed, and do by these presents grant, convey, aline and 
confirm unto the said Rachel Roberson, Hugh Roberson, Samuel Roberson, Mary 
Roberson, Rachel Roberson Jr, William Roberson and Vann Roberson, the legal 
heirs and representatives of William Roberson deceased, their heirs forever, 
all that tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Washington and state 
aforesaid, containing two hundred eighty seven and an half acres, bounded on 
all sides at the time of surveying by vacant lands, originally granted to John 
Wynn deceased, to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto the 
said Rachel Roberson, Hugh Roberson, Samuel Roberson, Mary Roberson, Rachel 
Roberson Jr, William Roberson and Vann Roberson, the legal heirs and 
representatives of William Roberson deceased, and their heirs and assigns 
forever, and the said Sarah Wynn, William Roberson and Patsey his wife, 
Leonard Fretwell and Sally his wife, Joseph Carter and Fanney his wife, 
Presley Sanford and Polly his wife, Benjamin Wynn, John Wynn, William Wynn, 
Leonard Wynn, Jinncy Wynn, and Thomas Wynn the widow, children and legal 
representatives of John Wynn deceased, the said tract or parcel of land, unto 
the said Rachel Roberson, Hugh Roberson, Samuel Roberson, Mary Roberson, 
Rachel Roberson Jr, William Roberson and Vann Roberson, the legal heirs and 
representatives of William Roberson deceased, and their heirs and assigns 
forever, against the claim of all and every of us, and heirs, do by these 
presents hereby warrant and defend. In witness whereof the said Sarah Wynn, 
William Roberson and Patsey his wife, Leonard Fretwell and Sally His wife, 
Joseph Carter and Fanney his wife, Presley Sanford and Polly his wife, 
Benjamin Wynn, John Wynn, William Wynn, Leonard Wynn, Jinncy Wynn, Thomas Wynn 
the widow, children and legal representatives of John Wynn deceased, have each 
and severally signed their names and affixed their seals the day and year 
first written above.
