attack in office of W. J. Wilkes, auto dealer on 10/16/1943. 
Military: World War I veteran
Occupational History: House detective at Bon Air Hotel in Augusta. Formerly 
night watchman for Warrenton town. 
Member: Charter member of Hyman Post American Legion
Funeral: 10/17/1943 graveside Johnson cemetery. Rev. R. P. Segars and Rev. W. 
R. McLin will officiate.
