This was typed from a typed copy from the clerk and not from the original. Note that paragraphs 16 and 24 are missing. Also the name of Sawby may be Sorsby. THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH FLEWELLIN , DECEASED GEORGIA, WARREN COUNTY In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Flewellin of the County aforesaid do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to wit. To God I return my Soul and my body to the earth in Christian burial. Of my temporal goods I give first to my Sister Sarah Persons two thousand dollars in cash. SECOND. To Elizabeth Flewellin daughter of my sister Sarah Persons I give one thousand dollars. THIRD. I give to William Shivers Senr. two Thousand Dollars. In trust to and for the use of Elizabeth Shivers, wife of George W. C. Shivers and her children. The interest where of is to be given to the best plan to support the said Elizabeth and children during her life and then to be equally divided among all her children and representatives of children. FOURTH. I give Nicholas W. Pitts, Nestor Pitts & John Pitts, Francis Shivers & Nancy Brown, children of my sister Martha, twelve hundred dollars each. FIFTH. I give my sister Rebecca Whitehead fifty dollars because she is wealthy not that I love her less. SIXTH. I give Ann Bozerman daughter of my sister Rebecca Whitehead two Thousand dollars. SEVENTH. I give to the sons of my sister Whitehead by her marriage with Alexander Sawby, six thousand dollars to be equally divided share and share alike. EIGHTH. I give Maria Flewellin wife of Thomas Flewellin one thousand dollars. NINTH. I give my sister Frances Drake six thousand five hundred dollars. TENTH. I give my sister Lucy Body seven Thousand five hundred dollars. ELEVENTH. I give Alford Battle son of my sister Mary fifty dollars, not that I like him less, but because he is already wealthy and only one child. TWELFTH. I give my sister Mary's grand child by her marriage with William Arrington a daughter now living with Alford Battle five hundred dollars. THIRTEENTH. I give to the children of Martha Sharp by her first marriage with Fort two hundred dollars to be equally divided among them. FOURTEENTH. I give Mary Ann Collier one thousand dollars. FIFTEENTH. I give to William Battle son of my sister Mary one thousand dollars. SEVENTEENTH. I give to Frederick Battle brother as above one thousand dollars. EIGHTEENTH. I give to the children of Larkin Battle to be equally divided among them one thousand dollars. NINETEENTH. I give Nicholas Arrington son of my sister Mary one thousand dollars. TWENTIETH. I give Elizabeth Boddie daughter of my sister Mary one thousand dollars. TWENTY FIRST. I give Thomas Battle son of my sister Mary one thousand dollars. TWENTY SECOND. I give my negroes Prip, Crawford, Jane, and her three children, Martha, James Russell & Silva, to Elizabeth Boddie daughter of my sister Mary. I wish Prip well used. TWENTY THIRD. I give my negroes Harry, his wife Mary Ann and children Julian Lodarky, Millona, Eldan, Harry, Ann Elizabeth & Austin to Thomas Battle son of my sister Mary. TWENTY FIFTH. I give to Nestor & John Pitts my negores, Mikbra, Pulaski, Flora, Columbus, Ann Dawson, Mary Frances & Jordan. TWENTY SIXTH. I give to John H. Drake, Francis Drake and Calvin Drake equally my negroes Narcissa, Lad, Martin, Fayette, Perry, Cypheann, Marceny, James Madison, Alford, Athelstan Andrews & John Richard. TWENTY SEVENTH. I give to Mary Ann Collier my negroes, Alace, Barny, Randolph, Canneng, Cynthia, Brigadier, Louisa A. Drake & Jackson. TWENTY EIGHTH. I give my negroes Fony, his wife Charry, their children Charity, Mary & Lucy, with Charity's two children and Emmit to Laurence Battle. TWENTY NINTH. I wish Squir & Willis to be sold by my Executors. THIRTIETH. I give my sister Sarah Persons one thousand dollars. THIRTY FIRST. I wish my Executors to sell all my lands at the Court house in Warrenton and pay over the proceeds to the children of my sister Lucy equally share and share alike. THIRTY SECOND. I give all the balance of my estate of whatever name, kind or nature to my sister Mary's son, Thomas Battle. THIRTY THIRD. I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Thomas Battle Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
