> August, Sparta, at the Courthouse:

> "One third of 200 acres of land lying on the waters of Town Creek, adjoining 
> Cobb and Tarver, levied on as the property of Elijah Twilly and pointed out 
> by John Tarver vs. Elijah Twilly ..."

> Looks like he probably lost part of his land.  If you look for a deed in 
> Hancock Co. referencing the land, look under the Sheriff's name instead of 
> Twilly.  The Sheriff at that time was Tully Vinson.
