Land Warrant
No. 3

Georgia
Washington County

By a court of Justice held in and for said County To
William RAWLINGS County Surveyor you are herby
Required to Admeasure and Lay out or cause to be
admeasured and laid out to Zadock RACHEL on Head
Right a tract of land on said county that shall
contain three hundred acres adjoining Wm. RACHELS &
John RACHELS on the waters of Cowpen Creek taking
special care that the same hath not been laid out to
any other person or persons and that your record a
plat thereof in your office and transmit your
proceedings to the Surveyor General within the time
provided by Law Given under Hour Hands this 4th Day
of December 1837.
