Poole, aged 84 years, died at her home a few miles north of Warthen last Saturday, her death having been attributed to what is commonly known as rabbit disease. She and her daughter had prepared a large number of rabbits for sale during the past winter and the malady infected her skin, sores making their appearance on various parts of her body and limbs. She was also attacked with pneumonia, and on account of her advanced age could not rally. She was the widow of Mr. W.B. Poole who died on the first day of January last year. She is survived by a step daughter, Miss Lucy Poole, who is also suffering from the same malady that caused Mrs. Poole's death. The burial took place in the family cemetery a few miles from Wrens Sunday afternoon. The Sandersville Undertaking Company was in charge.
