Sandersville Progress March 23, 1909
  Thursday night Mr. Cooper Brantley, nightwatchman at the Tennille Oil Mill, 
was killed by being caught in some machinery of the engine.
  Mr. Brantley was at work at the mill for the last time during this season, 
as Friday night the works would have shut down.
  The co-incidence is that three years ago the superintendent of the mill was 
killed in exactly the same manner the night before the work were to shut down 
for the season.
  Coroner J.H. Thompson of Sandersville was notified of the accidental death 
of Mr. Brantley and held an inquest over the remains. The verdict of the 
injury was that his death was caused by being caught in the machinery of the 
engine at the oil mill.
