Sandersville Progress August 16, 1922
Fern Crest Guernsey Farm has installed an up-to-date sterilizer large enough to 
hold 600 milk bottles. After the bottles are washed and rinsed they are placed 
in this sterilizer and subjected to a current of live steam under 80 pounds 
pressure for more than one hour. It is impossible for any kind of germ to live 
under one tenth the heat and pressure applied.
