It is one of he needs of the county, in fact, of this section, as there is no enterprise of this kind nearer than Wrens. When it is considered that most of the wheat raised in this county is sent to that place for milling it emphasizes the necessity of the establishment of the mill. Nothing is calculated to so stimulate trade as the establishment of the mill. Already this season over 5,000 bushels of wheat have been shipped away from here. Another argument in behalf of the mill is the fact that the milling now done is not of the very best kind. It is proposed to put in the latest, patented machine which will turn out a better grade of flour. At present the wheat is, to great extent, only mashed by the old stone arrangement. The new roller mill will do the work by a pressing process and better results are sure to follow. MAny thousands of dollars have been put into circulation in other places in the past which should have found their way into the coffers of the business men of the town.
