Mrs. Bessie Aldred, 66, widow of Jack W. Aldred, died at home 1/16/1942. 
Funeral: 1/18/1942 at Sandersville Baptist church. Rev. Carey T. Vinzant and 
Rev. E. G. Orahood officiating. 
Burial: in old city cemetery. 
Parents: The late Thomas H. Sparks, Civil war veteran and Martha Elizabeth 
Mathis Sparks. 
Survivors: 
Brother; Battle Sparks 
Sister; Miss Mamie Sparks 
Several nieces and nephews; unnamed
