Moriah Church Sunday Afternoon - Tennille Ga. - April 25, Funeral services for James Brantley, 80, well known Washington County resident who died at his home near here Friday after several weeks illness, were held yesterday afternoon at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Tyner and the Rev. W.M. Marshall. Mr. Brantley had spent practically his entire life in this section where he was born and reared. He had for many years been active in the work of Mount Moriah Church of which he was the oldest member. He was a brother of the late Rev. Alonzo Brantley and the late Rev. Lee Brantley of Tennille. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Georgia Brantley, one son Roger Brantley, a grand daughter Rodelle Brantley and one brother W.L. Brantley of Sylvania; several nieces and nephews among them O.B. Brantley and Arlie Brantley of Tennille. Interment was in the Church cemetery.
