He was born January 22, 1902 and died August 04, 1903. He was a very bright promising child with a sweet and affectionate disposition. Our home is so lonely without him. We cannot understand why this sweet little treasure should be taken from us unless it was too pure for earth's trials and temptations. We do mourn as those having no hope. We know that he will wear a spotless crown in Heaven. His case was so complicated that he could not overcome the diseases. He first had measles, a few days later pneumonia and whooping cough developed. He lingered a little more than seven weeks when at last the death Angel came and bore his little spirit home where no death nor sufferings are. The remains were laid to rest in the family cemetery at Antioch church Wednesday evening at 2 o'clock. The funeral services were conducted by Elder O.R. Miller in a very impressive manner. The little crib is empty now, The little clothes laid by, A mother's hope, a father's joy, In death's cold arm doth lie. God needed one more Angel child, Amidst His shining band, And so He bent His loving smile, And clasped our darling's hands. Parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.R.
