Mrs. Jackson had long been the subject of severe affliction, internal cancer, and for near twelve months was confined to her room. She was the daughter of Mr. Levin Lord, an old citizen of this county. A son and daughter and many relatives mourn her loss. Rev. John C. Pace performed the funeral service on Thursday afternoon at the family burial ground near Tabernacle Church. Additional Comments: Marinda Lord was married to Wheaton Jackson, who died in the Civil War.
