The Augusta Chronicle
Oscar Lord - Oscar Lord, 83, husband of the late Mrs. Mary Widdon Lord, of 1452 
Cooper St. died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday at his home after an extended illness.
 Born in Washington County, Ga., Mr. Lord was a retired grocery merchant, and a 
member of J.O.U.A.M. Woodlawn Council No. 29.
 Funeral arrangements will be announced later by R.E. Elliott Sons Funeral 
Home. Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Louise Bradley of Douglasville, 
Ga.: a brother, Horace Lord of Sandersville, Ga.: four sisters, Mrs. G.A. Lord, 
Miss Mildred Lord, Miss Alma Lord, and Mrs. C.E. Joiner, all of Augusta.
