 Died in Washington county, Ga, May 2?, 1862, Mrs. Mary Lord, in the 86th year 
of her age. For fifty-six years she had been a consistent member of the 
Methodist church. Having kept her lamp trimmed and burning she received with 
joy the summons to go forth to meet the bride groom. Like a shock of wheat 
fully ripe she has been gathered to her Master's garner. Truly may it be said, 
a mother in Israel hath fallen asleep.
