Sandersville Progress, Oct. 15, 1889
  Mrs. J.T. Long, after a lingering illness of about three weeks, died last 
night at half-past ten o'clock. Her many friends in this city will receive this 
announcement with sorrow.
  She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K.J.N. Walden, who reside near 
this city, and the wife of our fellow townsman, Mr. J.T. Long. She left two 
small children who are too young to realize their loss.
  To the bereaved husband and relatives we extend our sympathies in their hour 
of sadness and gloom.
  Her burial will take place tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock in the City 
Cemetery.
