BENTON PAUL LORD - Services for Mr. Benton Paul Lord, 77, of Wrightsville, will 
be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Church of the Nazarene in Wrightsville 
with burial in the Garnto Cemetery. Revs. Remus Freeman, Everett Fosky, Jack 
Hinton will officiate.
  Born in Washington County, Mr. Lord was the son of the late Solomon and 
Samantha Welch Lord. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the United 
States Army. He was also a farmer. He died Wednesday.
  Survivors include his wife, Mattie Celia Kersey Lord of Wrightsville, two 
sons, Randall Wayne Lord and Jerry Lord, both of Wrightsville; three grandsons, 
Joshua Keith Lord, Matthew Clinton Lord and William Jacob Lord, all of 
Wrightsville, and several nieces and nephews.
  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9:00 p.m. at 
the funeral home.
  In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the 
Pleasant Springs Cemetery Fund c/o Vernon Harrell 13328 Highway 24 east, 
Davisboro, Ga. in memory of Mr. Lord.
  Stanley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
