CHARLIE LORD - On the 26th of November, 1918, the death angel visited the home of Bro. Charlie Lord and removed from there, the beloved brother, after an illness of a very short while. Brother Lord joined Sisters Baptist Church by experience in Aug. 1916. He live a quiet, humble Christian life until he was called to serve his country in a world war. He leaves a young wife, father and mother, brothers and sisters, besides a number of relatives to mourn his loss. Resolved, first, that as a church, we humbly bow to the will of the great Father, knowing that He doeth all things well. Second, that we extend to the bereaved family our most heart-felt sympathy, praying God to direct them in all their ways, that a copy be inscribed upon our church record, and given to the family and a copy be furnished the county paper for publication.
