Gilbert Funeral Rites Here Today Funeral services for the Rev. O.G. Gilbert, 77, of 2305 Stonewall Street, will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Harry J. Berry and the Rev. James M. Sitton officiating. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery and Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Mr. Gilbert will be placed in the church at 9:30 A.M. Thursday. Active pallbearers will be Lee Palmer, Paul Hudson, Jr., John Ross, Jack Donaldson, Myron Norman and Max Browning. Native of Washington County, the Rev. Mr. Gilbert had lived here for the past three years after retiring as a Christian minister. He was the son of the late G.J. Gilbert and Mary Goff Gilbert. He died Wednesday morning at this home after having been in declining health for the past two years. His survivors are his wife, the former Miss Nora Rachels, of Dublin; two sons, A.R. Gilbert, of Schenectady, N.Y., and O.G.
