Dublin, Georgia newspaper clipping, 1988

Services for Nora Rachels Gilbert, 95, of Dublin, will be held at 11 a.m. today 
in the C. Homer Adams Chapel of Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. Jamie Brame will 
officiated and burial will be in Northview Cemetery.
A native of Washington County, Mrs. Gilbert was the daughter of the late John 
Alfred and Mary Wiggins Rachels and the wife of the late Rev. Oscar Green 
Gilbert Sr., She was a member of First Christian Church of Dublin. Mrs. Gilbert 
died Thursday at a local nursing home.
Survivors include two sons, Alfred R. Gilbert of Schenectady, N.Y., and O.G. 
Gilbert Jr. of Bowling Green, Ky.; five grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Ross, Lee Palmer, Jack Donaldson, Paul Hudson Jr., 
Wesley Gore and Luther Curry.
