Rev. Olin Fox and Dr. C. D. Graves officiated and Adams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Born and reared in Johnson County, Mr. Jordan had lived in Dublin for 47 years. He was a blacksmith, a member of the Masonic Order and an Elder of the First Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mary Will Rachels; one sister, Mrs. J. G. Nix, Hollywood, Fla.; one brother, M. W. Jordan, of Dublin. Pallbearers were Everett Ellis, Comer Renfroe, Delmas Jordan, Julian Rachels, Jr., Johnnie Cochran and E. B. Mackey.
