Homer Adams Chapel with the Rev. Edward Reese, former pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery and Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the rites. Acrive pallbearers will be Herbert Hilton, Emmett Leveret, Lelad Warren, Everett Ellis, Rudy Crafton, Jack Donaldson, Hugh Moore, Sr., and F. C. Tindol. Daughter of the late John A. Rachels and Mary Wiggins Rachels, of Washington County, Mrs. Jordan had lived here most of her life. She died this morning in a local hospital after an illness of several years' duration. Mrs. Jordan was the widow of J. J. Jordan, prominent Dublinite, and was a member of the First Christian Church. She taught the Mary Will Jordan Sunday School class for 70 years and was widely known for her consideration of attention to others, her charity and fervent activities in good works. Her survivors are a brother, Julian A. Rachels, of Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Doyle Knight, of Wrightsville, and Mrs. O.G. Gilbert, of Dublin and a brother- in-law, Claude H. Jones, of Dublin.
