C. Curry, 88, of 907 Anderson Street, are to be held this afternoon at four o'clock at the First Christian Church with the Rev. James M. Sitton, assisted by the Rev. Lester Cochrane, assisting. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery and pallbearers will include Joe Herringdine, Luther Curry, Billy Frank Curry, Larry Curry, Bill Flanders, Alvin Brown and Jimmy Smith. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Curry will lie in state at the church from three P.M. Daughter of the late Green Gilbert and Mary Goff Gilbert, of Washington County, she had lived in Laurens for 54 years. The former Miss Mamie Etta Gilbert, she was the widow of William Clarence Curry, of Laurens county, and a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by two sons, J.E. (Buck) Curry and Curtis Curry, of Dublin, Rt. 4; seven daughters, Mrs. C.C. Faircloth and Mrs. Alvin Brown, of Dublin, Mrs. Roy Flanders, Dublin, Rt. 4, Mrs. Eula Shepherd and Mrs. Tom Simpson, of Milledgeville, Mrs. Mary Hatfield, of Albany and Mrs. Nina Smith, of Atlanta, a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.
