Obituary found in scrapbook of Sarah Alice Evans Booz.  It is very faded and hard to read.

Died in Sandersville on the 17th last WILLIAM WOODSON, infant son of Col. B.D. 
and Mrs. Sallie Evans, aged 1 year, 7 months, and 20 days.
     
None but those who have been called upon to bury beneath the sod their first, 
their only off-spring can truly sympathize with parents thus bereaved.  How 
difficult it is to resign the dear object of our affection into the cold 
embrace of death.  Yet, it's not death to one so young- 'tis only 
transplanting the tender flower from this world of sorrow into the paradise 
above.  Jesus takes them to himself- He who when upon earth blessed little 
children, takes these tender lambs into His own bosom and there nutures them, 
bidding their parents enter too.  How seldom it is that we see one, who like 
the sweet babe whose death we here chronicle, blessed with superior endowments 
at so tender an age, live to years of maturity.  The peculiar attractivness of 
this dear child drew all hearts towards him.  The idol of the household, he 
was taken by his Heavenly Father ere sin had cast its polluting blight upon 
him.
