Found in scrapbook of Alice Evans Booz (Mar 1877 handwritten at end of obituary)

MRS. ELIZABETH SMITH. -- This good christian woman died at her residence in 
this city on Monday morning last.  She was the widow of Wm. Smith, deceased.  
She and her husband settled in early life in this city, where they amassed a 
considerable fortune and reared a large family.  Messrs. B. D. and S. J. Smith 
of this city are her sons, and Mrs. Col. B. D. Evans, and Mrs. Capt. 
Taliaferro and Mrs. Williamson are her daughters.  "Aunt Betsy" as Mrs. Smith 
was familiarly called, was prized and esteemed as one of the best women in the 
land.  She died in ripe old age trusting in the world's Redeemer.
