Sandersville Progress  23 Jan. 1900
Mr. Moses Joiner, a prominent citizen of the county, died on Friday night of 
pneumonia and heart disease. He was a good man, honest and just in all his 
dealings and worthy of the respect and esteem of all who knew him. He lived all 
his life at the old home place where his father had lived before him, and died 
as quietly and peacefully as he had always lived. The sympathy of our whole 
town is extended to his bereaved wife and daughter Miss Euphenia.

Additional Comments:
Moses was the son of Malachi Joiner and Rachel Gardner. He is buried in the old 
Joiner cemetery.
