Augusta Chronicle, Friday, June 23, 1944
Homer Ponder, former farmer, born 6/20/1862 in Monroe Co., GA, formerly of 
Forsyth, died 6/21/1944, at the home of his niece, Mrs. Roy English and Miss 
Maude Ponder, in Sandersville where he had lived for 3½ years. 
Survivors: 
Brother; Lewis A. Ponder
Nieces and nephews, including Mrs. English, Miss Ponder, Homer Ponder and Bob 
Ponder. 
Funeral: 6/22/1944 Bramblett’s Funeral Home, Forsyth. 
Burial: Forsyth cemetery
