  FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. PROSSER - Funeral services for Mrs. Harvey B.
Prosser, 50, of Sandersville who died Tuesday, May 17, at Rawlings Sanitarium
were held Wednesday, May 18, at 3 o'clock at Sisters Baptist Church. The Rev.
Jordan Holland, pastor of the Sandersville Baptist Church, officiated.
  Mrs. Prosser was born 1905 in Washington County Miss Mattie Belle Brooks,
daughter of the late R.F. Brooks and Seana Waller Brooks. She was a member of
Sisters Baptist Church. She was married in 1919 to the late Harvey B. Prosser.
  Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Barron of Dublin; Mrs. H.T. Robinson,
Jr. of Sandersville; four sons, James B. Prosser, Alton Prosser, Robert Prosser,
Malcom Prosser, all of Sandersville; two sisters, Mrs. John Prosser and Mrs.
H.D. Lord, both of Sandersville; one brother, Silas Brooks of Statesboro,
several nieces and nephews and a large number of other relatives.
  Pallbearers were her nephews. Interment was in Brownwood Cemetery with Mayo
Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
