Smith departed this life and went to be with Jesus on May 28, 1906, aged nearly two years. The sweetest jewel of our home are the little children and when the reaping angel comes and calls them away. We can grieve over the loss of their sweet companionship and unalloyed devotion; but still their comes to our hearts a joyful conscousness that they are safe and perfectly immune against the ills to which we are still heir. Wood was an exceptional child in disposition and recollections of him will linger in our minds and mereuse our anticipation of the future meeting where parting shall be no more. Bereaved parents, let your grief rest on him who said, "Suffer the little children to come Unto Me" and ___ of a truth that Jesus will care to our boy better than you could in his ___ and will present to you immortalized in glorified beauty when He comes to make up His Jewels. Rest, dear baby rest From toil on earth below Saved among the blest. Planted in Heaven to Grow.
