  LEO TANNER, 59, DIES IN DETROIT - Funeral services for Leo Tanner, 59, years 
of age of Detroit, Mich., were conducted on Sunday, Sept 2, following a short 
illness
  A native of Sandersville, Mr. Tanner, went to Detroit to make his home about 
38 years ago. His last visit to Sandersville was over a year ago when he 
visited relatives here and in the county.
  Survivors include Mrs. Tanner of Detroit, his widow; two sisters, Mrs. C.B. 
Avant, Sandersville and Mrs. Miles Tanner, Washington County; and a brother, 
Steve D. Tanner, a patient in the Veterans Hospital near Dublin.
