Sandersville Progress
  Funeral services for Willie Hugh Todd, 76, of Sandersville were held Sunday, 
May 12, at 2pm in the Tabernacle Methodist Church. The Rev. O.L. McCullough, 
pastor of Sisters Baptist Church, and the Rev. Emory Lindsey, pastor of the 
Church of the Nazarene officiated. Mr. Todd died May 10.
  Mr. Todd was born May 8, 1898, in Washington County, son of the late W.H. 
Todd and the late Mrs. Johnson Todd. He was a retired farmer and a member of 
Tabernacle Methodist Church. Also, Mr. Todd was a veteran of World War II.
  Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Josephine Frazier; two sons, Billy 
Steve Todd, Ralph Todd; two daughters, Mrs. Deloris Horton, Mrs. Judy Kyzer, 
all of Sandersville; ten grandchildren' two brothers, Eugene Todd, 
Sandersville, Thomas Todd, San Francisco, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn 
Jackson, Mrs. Mattie Lou Orr, Mrs. Andrew Henson, Mrs. Julian Knight, all of 
Sandersville; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
  Pallbearers were Jack Jackson, L.L. Parker, Charles Orr, Lamar Henson, Fred 
Todd, and Walter Parker.
  Mayo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with interment in Brownwood 
Cemetery.
