The Rev. J.D. Corbitt and the Rev. Earl Robinson officiated, with burial following in the church cemetery. Mr. Waller, a member of the Tabernacle Church and veteran of World War II, was killed late Saturday when the truck which he was driving overturned pinning him beneath the wreckage. He was born Aug. 22, 1918 in Washington County, the son of Richard Frank Waller, Sr., and Florie Tompkins Waller. He was employed by Joiner Truck line of Milledgeville. In 1948 he married the former Miss Reba Crosby of Gordon. Survivors include his wife; parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Waller, Sr., Sandersville; three brothers, William and Jack Waller, both of Sandersville, Mack Waller, Dallas, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Doyle Ennis, McIntyre and Mrs. Emma Waller, Macon; an uncle Tillman Waller, Sandersville; six aunts, Mrs. Tom Sellers, Mrs. Johnie Tanner, Mrs. Harlie Turner, Mrs. Cleo Tanner, all of Sandersville, Mrs. E.J. Johnson, Thomaston and Mrs. W.C. Davis, Tennille. The nephews served as pallbearers. Mayo Funeral Home of Sandersville was in charge of arrangements.
