Sandersville Progress - August 14, 1947
Miss Julia Herrin Weds J.D. Godfrey - Miss Julia Herrin was married to J.D. 
Godfrey at high noon Monday at the Methodist parsonage in Sandersville. The 
ceremony was performed by the Rev. H.G. Shearouse.
  Mrs. Godfrey was formerly of Blackshear and before coming to Sandersville was 
engaged in teaching at Waycross. She has resided here for some time. Mr. 
Godfrey is a well-known local attorney.
  Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey will be at home on South Harris Street.
