John A. Rachels, Miss Ella Rachels was united in marriage to Mr. Claude H. Jones. The cememony was performed by Rev. John M. Outler in the presence of just a few friends and relatives. The marriage was set for several weeks ago, but Mr. Jones was taken suddenly ill and had to be carried to a hospital in Atlanta. This necessitated a postponement. As soon as Mr. Jones recovered suffieciently to return to the city, the marriage ceremony was solemnized without making any public announcement. The bride is one of the sweetest young ladies of the city, and is popular with all her friends. She is modest, lady-like and refined, and has a large circle of friends. Mr. Jones is a steady-going, reliable young man, of sterling worth, high character and strict integrity. The friends of the bride and groom wish for them a long and happy married life.
