W.E. Harvill officiating, Mr. J. J. Jordan and Miss Mary Will Rachels were united in marriage. For some reason the parents of the bride objected to this match and the young people decided to brave parental objection and unite their destinies as their hearts had been united. All has been forgiven and the parental blessing is now theirs. Mr. Jordan is connected with the firm of Murchison & Jordan and is a steady going young man. The bride for some time has been employed at the Dublin Telephone Exchange and is a daughter of Section Foreman Rachels of the Wrightsville and Tennille railroad.
