ITEM 1 - It is my will and desire that my body be buried in Zeta Cemetery by the side of my deceased wife, Anna Elizabeth Lord, and that a granite or marble slab, suitably marked, be placed over my grave. ITEM 2 - It is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid, as soon as possible after my death. ITEM 3 - I have heretofore made advances to my various children, which are not to be reckoned in the distribution of my estate, but which I consider and reckon in the making of this my last Will and Testament. ITEM 4 - I give and bequeath unto my daughters, Lila Estell Rogers, Martha A.E. Sheppard, Lucy Roberts Reynolds and Gussie Lou Murphey. ITEM 5 - I give and bequeath to my son John Wright Lord the sum of $ 200.00. ITEM 6 - I give and bequeath to my wife Laura Jane Lord, and my two sons, James Sidney Lord and Iverson Hawkins Lord the sum of $ 500.00. ITEM 7 - The residue of my property after the payment of the foregoing legacies, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Laura Jane Lord, my daughter, Mary Emma Raines and my three sons, Iverson Luther Lord, Iverson Hawkins Lord and James Sidney Lord, share and share alike. ITEM 8 - The legacy of $ 500.00 given to my wife in the previous item of this Will, and her share in the residue given in the foregiving item are in lieu of dower and year's support or either. Should my wife take dower or year's support, then it is my Will that she should take no interest or share in my estate under this Will that such act upon her part shall operate to forfeit the interest, otherwise, given her in this Will. ITEM 9 - I hereby constitute and appoint my sons, Iverson Luther Lord and Iverson Hawkins Lord, joint executors of this my last Will and Testament. I fix their compensation at $ 100.00 each in full for their services, as executors of my estate. I authorize my executors to sell any of my property at private sale without advertisement or without orders of the court and confer upon them the power to execute all needed and necessary conveyances to effectuate the power herein granted. My executors are clothed, also, with power to carry out and perform any and all executory contract of whatever kind and character to which I may be a party, and without obtaining any order from any court. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, affixed my seal and declared the above and foregoing as my last Will and Testament. Iverson Lord Signed, sealed and declared and published by Iverson Lord as his last Will and Testament, in the presence of the undersigned, as witness thereto, being called individually and specially by Iverson Lord as witnesses to this Will, he first signing the same in our presence, and then signing as witness in his presence and in the presense of each other.
