Findlay Irwin, R.S. Harrell, and E.W. Jordan, as attesting witnesses. And whereas I am desirous of amending said Will owing to the subsequent death of my son, Iverson Luther Lord, Now therefore I do make, execute and declare this codicil to said last Will and Testament. ITEM 1 - The share of my estate devised to Iverson Luther Lord in my original will I give, bequeath and devise to my wife, Laura Jane Lord, my daughter, Mary Emma Raines, and my two sons, Iverson Hawkins Lord and James Sidney Lord share and share alike in fee simple forever. ITEM 2 - For some years the whereabouts of my son, Charles Julian Lord, has been unknown to me, but recently I have discovered his whereabouts and insomuch as I have given him from time to time sums of money above amounts advanced to my other children provided for in the foregoing item, it is my will that he take no interest whatever by way of legacy of devises in my estate. ITEM 3 - I hereby appoint and constitute my friend, T. Wells Smith, as joint executor with my son, Iverson Hawkins Lord, of my last Will and Testament and this codicil thereto. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, affixed my seal and declared the above and foregoing as my last Will and Testament, this the 8th day of December 1926. Iverson Lord Signed, sealed, declared and published by Iverson Lord as a codicil to his last Will and Testament in the presence of the undersigned as witnesses thereto, being called individually and specially by Iverson Lord as witnesses to this Will, he first signing the same in our presence and we then signing as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other.
