Will Book B, pp. 43Ð44.] Written: April 1852 Mary Baker State of Georgia ¤ Washington County ¤ In the name of God Amen I Mary BAKER of said State and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly depart this world, deem it right and proper, both as respects myself and family that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me. I therefore make this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others heretofore made by me. Item first desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition. My Soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it, As I hope for eternal salvation through the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whose religion I have professed, and I humbly trust have enjoyed for forty years. Item Second desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executor hereinafter named. Item third give and devise to my daughter, Penelope CONE wife of Archibald CONE one hundred and thirty dollars. Item fourth give and devise to my three grandchildren Nancy CASON wife of John CASON, Jonathan H. BAKER and Mary BAKER the children of Blake H. BAKER each twenty dollars. Item fifth desire and request that my bed, bed clothing and cloaths (sic) should remain in and belong to the family with which I may be living at the time of my decease. Item Sixth The rest of my property both real and personal wherever and whatever it may be, I devise and bequeath to my son Joseph HARRISON, my daughter Pheroby MCKINNON wife of John McKINNON, my daughter Sarah HURST widow of James HURST deceased, and my son Jonathan BAKER to be equally divided between them share and share alike.
