To John J Little, Daniel Gibson, Jonathan C Harrison, Lewis P Manning and David Geiger Greeting These are to authorize and e____ you or a majority of you whose names are above written to attend and appraise the lands goods and chattles of William Flowers deceased (in dollars and cents). As far as the same shall be provided to you by John D Rumph administrator of said deceased or shall come to your knwledge or sight (ready money, notes and accounts excepted). You having first taken an oath before some officer authorized to administer oaths or before each other in terms of the law, will and tryly so to a certificate of which you are required to return with the appraisment and when the same you have appraised you are to return an inventory thereof signed by a majority of you.
