Beasley, 95, died Thursday, April 3, 2003 at his residence. The Wayne County native was a retired truck driver and bridge construction foreman. He was a member of the Parkway Church of God and was the widower of Lula Mae Durden Beasley. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Eula Mae Herndon. Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Smith of Jesup, and Mary Ann Edge of Vidalia; two sons, Charlie Beasley of Stoystown, PA and Roy Beasley of Jesup; a sister, Pearl Gutwin of Naples, FL; a brother, Willard Beasley of Eatonton; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, eight great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Sat., April 5 at the Parkway Church of God with Rev. Randy Rowell, Rev. Eugene Evors, and Rev. Claude Evors officiating.
