I Ansel Walker of the above State & County, being in perfect health of body and sound mind & memory, thanks be given to God. Calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed unto all men one to die - do make & ordain this my last will & testament in manner & form as follows: First: I give & recommend my soul to Almighty God who gave it, And my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner. And as touching such wordly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life. First: I give & bequeath to Allifred, my dearly beloved wife all my Estate real & personal to wit: Lands, Slaves, Cattle, Horse creatures & Hogs with all my plantation Tools & house-hold & kitchen furniture. Second: I do give & allot to each one of my Brothers & to each one of my sisters, the sumof five dollars to be raised & paid to each one of them by my wife Allifred out of the property left to her as above mentioned. Third: It is my will & pleasure that Allifred my wife shall hold & enjoy the above property as given to her, her natural life & should she marry and have a child or children then for them to have the property at her death, and in case she should die childless, then it is my wish & request that the property or the amounts of value be Equally divided among my nephews & neices the children of my brothers & sisters the foregoing, I do Ratify and confirm my last will & Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal. This twenty second day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and twenty and in the Forty fifth year of American independence.
