WILL OF JAMES CAUSEY


Wayne Co State of Ga
In the name of God Amen, I James Causey of Wayne County in the State of Ga 
being at present weak in body but of sound memory and understanding, do make 
and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit.

I give & bequeath unto William W Causey, my son four Cows & Calves & one 
feather bed.  I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza M Manning after my death 
two Cows & Calves.  I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife and the heirs of 
her body my mare & Colt the remainder of my cattle & hogs My house & furniture 
& my plantation tools My inheritance & land until her death & then I wish it to 
be divided equally between the heirs.  Viz.  James Leighton, Thomas Erastus, 
Jane Ann Elizabeth and William W. to have & equal share of the land only.  
Signed sealed published and declared by the above named - James Causey -

As for his last will & testament in the presence of us who have hereunto 
subscribed our name as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator & 
each other.
