I give & bequeath unto William W Causey, my son four Cows & Calves & one feather bed. I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza M Manning after my death two Cows & Calves. I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife and the heirs of her body my mare & Colt the remainder of my cattle & hogs My house & furniture & my plantation tools My inheritance & land until her death & then I wish it to be divided equally between the heirs. Viz. James Leighton, Thomas Erastus, Jane Ann Elizabeth and William W. to have & equal share of the land only. Signed sealed published and declared by the above named - James Causey - As for his last will & testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our name as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator & each other.
