Polk, Former Stewart Resident Dies Suddenly In Webster Mr. Lucius Ambrose Polk, died very suddenly last Sunday morning at his home in Webster County and was buried Monday afternoon with Woodman honors led by Rev. M. B. Brown, Rev. J. D. O'Keefe and Rev. R. W. James conducted the funeral service. Surviving the deceased are his wife, four sons, Arthur, Earl, Edwin and David; four daughters, Sallie Mae, Annie Lee, Joyce and Garner Lou; one brother, J. T. Polk of Weston, and one sister Mrs. W. T. Murrah of Richland. Mr. Polk was a Seaboard railroad section foreman and had many friends throughout this entire section. For a number of years he was foreman of the section at Lumpkin. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was buried in the Church Cemetery at Weston. He will be greatly missed in his Church and community, and the deep sympathy of hundreds of friends goes out to the bereaved widow and children.
