Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery. Mrs. Browning was born in Johnson County and lived in Alamo for 50 years. She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Truitt Browning of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jerry Browning of Alamo; two daughters, Mrs. Jewel Clements of Stone Mountain, and Mrs. William R. Hogan of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Mrs. Z.O. Thomas of Alamo and Mrs. Henry Johnson of Helena; a brother, J. L. Johnson of Alamo. Harrison and Smith Funeral Home in McRae has charge of arrangements.
