                         Mrs. Varnell Foskey
 GLENWOOD---Services for Mrs. Varnell S. Foskey will be at 3PM today in Snow 
Hill Church of God, near Glenwood, with burial in Glenwood City Cemetery. 
Foskey, 71, died Friday, Nov. 14, 1997. Born in Chatham County, she had lived 
most of her life in Wheeler County. The widow of Spec Foskey, she was a member 
of Snow Hill Church of God.
 Survivors include her children, Winnell Padgett, Cathern Brown, Betty Jean 
Yawn, Elmas Foskey, and Robert Foskey, all of Glenwood and Billy Foskey of 
Vidalia; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service in Glenwood has charge of 
arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Varnell was born 6-17-1926. Her husband was Thurman Willis "Spec" Foskey.
