                 Mrs. Hattie Pennington Foskey Died Suddenly
 Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Pennington Foskey were held at Satilla 
Church Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock with the Rev. C. G. Ward, pastor of 
the Hazlehurst Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the family 
cemetery with Thomas Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
 Mrs. Foskey died from a heart attack at the family home, near here, early 
Monday morning. She had only recently returned from a Waycross hospital where 
she underwent a major operation and was apparently regaining her health when 
the attack occurred.
 Besides her husband, Homer J. Foskey, she is survived by three daughters; 
Bobby Dean, Ellen, and Joie Jean; four sons, Kenneth Earl, James Randel, 
Charlie Cleland, and Foy Penny, all of Hazlehurst; three brothers, J. E. and 
Troy, of Hazlehurst and O. E. Pennington of Sanford, Fla.;  one sister, Mrs. 
S. L. Smith of Sanford, Fla.

NOTE--Her name is Mattie Lou Pennington Foskey, not Hattie. The obituary was 
in error.

Additional Comments:
Mattie Lou was born November, 1906 . Her husband, Homer J. Foskey is also 
buried at Satilla cemetery.
