                       Mr. William E. (Bill) Keene
 William E. (Bill) Keene, 67, of Glenwood, died Friday night, May 24th, in the 
Wheeler County Hospital of Glenwood, after a long illness. Mr. Keene was a 
lifelong resident of Wheeler County. He was a retired engineer with the 
Georgia Department of Transportation and was a Methodist.
 Mr. Keene is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dot Keene of Glenwood; one son, Rusty 
Keene of Glenwood; one grandson, Brandon Keene of Glenwood; and several nieces 
and nephews.
 Funeral services for William E. Keene were held Sunday afternoon, May 26th at 
3pm from the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel of Glenwood, with Rev. 
Gordon Goodwill officiating.
 Interment was in Glenwood City Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Leon Fields, L. W. Kent, Sandy Morrison, G. M. 
Joiner, Wesley Hartley and Junior Dixon.
 Honorary pallbearers were Dale Hooks, Bill Forney, Bill Adams, Marcus Bomar, 
Buddy Adams, Don Riddle, Calhoun Odom, and J. P. Morrison.
 Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel, was in charge of 
arrangements.

William was born 13 Sep 1923 to Alphus Milledge Keene and Mamie L. Adams 
Keene. Georgia death certificate #019895.
