                         Mrs. Jeanette Pope
 Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Foskey Pope, age 56, of Route One 
Glenwood, who passed away Wednesday at the Telfair County Hospital in McRae 
after an extended illness, were held Thursday at 2:00pm at the Hope Baptist 
Church in Wheeler County with Rev. Milton Smith officiating. Interment was in 
Hope Cemetery.
 Mrs. Pope was a life long resident of Wheeler County and was a charter member 
of Hope Baptist Church.
 Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jvan J. Pope of Glenwood; one daughter, 
Mrs. Janice Cole of Hazlehurst; one sons, H. L. Pope of Glenwood; two sisters, 
Mrs. Gladys Elerson of Waycross and Mrs. Grace Coleman of Glenwood; and four 
grandsons.
 Active pallbearers serving were Wendell Elerson, Harvey Elerson, Ander 
Foskey, Gene Dixon, Sonny Pickle, and Kenneth Bell.
 Honorary pallbearers serving were T. K. Browning, Carl Browning, Tommy 
Browning, Bradus Paul, C. I. Kirby, J. Hier Dixon, and C. H. Dixon.
 Wainright and Parlor Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arangements.

Jeanette was born 9-17-1924 to James Harrison Foskey and Penny Sterling 
Foskey. Georgia death certificate #040074.
