The Lake City Reporter 4-1981
                          Mr. Marcus M. Ruis
 Mr. Marcus M. Ruis, resident of Rt. 7 Box 197, Lake City, died Sunday April 
26 in the Lake Shore Hospital following an extended illness.
 Mr. Ruis was a native of Georgia and had made his home in Lake City the past 
nine years. Prior to Lake City, he lived in Hollywood, Fla. for some 15 years. 
He was a retired farmer.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maudie D. Ruis of Lake City; two sons, Mr. 
Ben Ruis and Mr. Willie Cecil Ruis, both of Lake City; one daughter, Mrs. 
Brenda Stormant of Lake City; and one step-brother, Mr. Robert Ruis of 
Terrytown, Ga.
 Four grandchildren also survive.

Additional Comments:
Marcus was born 16 Aug 1896 to James B. "Jim" Ruis and Nancy Ann Tyson Ruis.
